Move a VPS without cutting DNS on an untested copy.
Sites, databases and mail, from one unmanaged VPS to another. Hetzner, OVHcloud, Netcup, Contabo, DigitalOcean or Vultr. Both accounts stay in your name.
No RAID, no hardware ticket. The risk is DNS and mail.
A VPS migration is a parallel build. The new machine is installed, data synced, SSL issued and one mailbox tested on the new IP before any public change. The old VPS stays up for rollback. We do not promise zero downtime. A site without mail is often a short cut. Mailboxes are not.
Disk size, mailboxes, and whether the panel changes
HestiaCP, DirectAdmin or cPanel onto a clean VPS. Accounts come across. Custom NGINX and PHP pools are rebuilt, not assumed.
Vesta onto Hestia, or cPanel onto a plain NGINX stack. That is a rebuild. The quote follows the account count.
A fixed quote after the inventory. Not an open hourly bill.
Discovery on a server we cannot yet see is €55/hour. The move itself is quoted. A new VPS setup, if you have not ordered the destination, starts at €149 and is separate from the copy.
Moving a VPS, or leaving a provider?
Tell us both providers, the panel, and whether mail has to move. No root password in the first message.
