A monthly look at a server that is still up.
Disk, load, failed services, certificates, mail queue and whether last night’s backup actually ran. Included in the monthly plans. Available once, if you do not want a plan.
The things that fail quietly
Disk over 80%, load against the CPU you paid for, memory, and a service that restarted itself overnight.
Pending security updates, a certificate inside 14 days, SSH still on password, a panel port open to the world.
Backup job last success, not just that the timer exists. Mail queue depth. A queue growing is a health item, not a later surprise.
Inside the plan, or once at the hourly rate
Essential at €79 includes a monthly health check and a backup status check. Managed and Managed Plus add a review, not only a pass or fail.
€55/hour, minimum 1 hour. A deeper written audit, with no changes, starts at €99. Fixes found during the check are agreed before they are done.
Not monitoring, and not a repair
A health check is a point in time. It does not page anyone at 03:00. If the check finds a full disk or a stopped database, bringing it back is separate work, at the rate agreed then. Emergency cover is still best effort.
