Bring back what can be restored. Say so when it cannot.
A server that will not boot, a deleted site, a database dropped, or a disk the provider already replaced. Recovery starts from the copy that still exists, not from a reinstall.
Boot, files, or a new machine
Rescue system, mount the disk, fix the filesystem or the full volume, then a normal boot. Reinstall is last, and only with a copy of the sites.
A site, a table, a mailbox. We restore that object from the last good dump and leave the rest of the server alone.
Account closed, disks replaced, host wiped. The copy comes up on a new VPS or dedicated server, then DNS moves. This is quoted.
No offsite copy means no restore
A snapshot on the same provider helps before an upgrade. It does not help if that account is the thing that failed. If the only copy lived on the dead disk, we stop after the first look and say so, instead of billing a search through empty storage.
€95 an hour if production is down. A rebuild is quoted.
Emergency recovery is €95/hour, subject to availability. A restore that can wait for business hours is €55. Rebuilding onto a new server is a fixed quote after we know the disk size and whether mail has to move.
Server gone, or a site deleted?
Tell us the provider and where the last copy is. No root password in the first message.
