Server Provider Support

Independent Linux administration across leading European and international infrastructure providers.

You don’t need to move your server to us. Your infrastructure can stay with your existing provider while we handle the administration, troubleshooting, migrations, security and performance work behind it.

Your server. Your provider. Our Linux expertise.

Independent From Your Hosting Provider

Choose infrastructure on its own merits

Many providers supply reliable VPS, cloud and dedicated servers, but the operating system and applications remain the customer’s responsibility — especially with unmanaged infrastructure. Because we work independently from any provider, you can choose based on:

We provide the Linux expertise on top of that infrastructure — you keep ownership of the provider account, billing relationship and server.

One Provider or Multiple

We work across providers, not inside one ecosystem

Some businesses spread infrastructure across several providers — production at Hetzner, backups elsewhere, a separate DigitalOcean server, legacy services at OVHcloud, development at Vultr. DirektSupport can work across all of them, which also reduces dependency on a single vendor. Where appropriate, we can help document and standardise the Linux configuration across providers.

Choosing the Right Provider

The cheapest server isn’t always the best one

If you’re starting a new project, choosing the right provider can matter as much as choosing the server. We help evaluate these factors against your actual workload:

VPS, Cloud or Dedicated Server?

Different terminology, similar core choices

VPS

Often suitable for WordPress websites, business websites, smaller hosting environments, development infrastructure and moderate workloads.

Cloud Server

May offer easier scaling, snapshots, flexible deployment and API-based infrastructure management.

Dedicated Server

More appropriate for higher resource needs, large databases, many websites, large storage and predictable-resource workloads.

We can help determine which type of infrastructure is appropriate before you order it.

Server Setup After Purchase

After you order a server, we can prepare it for production — adapted to the actual workload rather than the same setup for every server.

Hosting Control Panels

We install and manage supported panels on infrastructure from compatible providers, and can help determine which option fits the workload.

Server Migration Between Providers

Already have a server but want to move?

We assist with migrations between VPS providers, VPS to dedicated, dedicated to dedicated, control panel migrations and more — for example, moving from Contabo to Hetzner, OVHcloud to Netcup, or DigitalOcean to Hetzner.

We don’t promote migration for the sake of migration. If the current provider and server are suitable, keeping the existing environment may be the better decision.

Provider-Side or Server-Side?

Not every problem is caused by Linux

We help identify which side of the infrastructure is most likely responsible — and provide technical information that’s useful when opening a ticket with your hosting provider.

Keep Your Provider Account

We don’t need to resell your server. Keeping infrastructure directly under your control gives you:

  • direct ownership of the provider account
  • transparent infrastructure costs
  • no unnecessary reseller dependency
  • easier provider changes
  • direct access to provider tools
  • clearer separation between infrastructure and administration
Provider Support for Web Agencies

Agencies often manage sites across several providers at once. We can provide Linux administration across all of them while your agency keeps the customer relationship.

Independent Since 2004

The company behind DirektSupport has been established and operational since 2004. Over more than two decades, we’ve worked with infrastructure from multiple hosting and server providers rather than building our experience around a single vendor.

That independence is central to DirektSupport — we evaluate infrastructure based on what fits the project, not what we need to sell.

Your server. Your provider. Our Linux expertise.

Whichever provider you use, we can help
