An EU company. The server can sit wherever the provider put it.
DirektSupport is operated from the European Union. Administration is remote. The VPS does not have to move to Romania to be supported.
The invoice and the contract are European. The disk is not.
The company behind the service has been established in the EU since 2004. Quotes and invoices come from that company. The server stays in your account at Hetzner, OVHcloud, Netcup, Scaleway or another provider, in whichever region you already chose. We do not require a local office, and we do not relocate data to “our” infrastructure, because we do not operate one.
Time zone, language, and where the data lives
Work is handled on European business hours. Out of hours is €125/hour and only if someone is available. There is no follow-the-sun desk.
Requests, notes and the site are in English. That is the working language for a server ticket, regardless of the country on the invoice.
Sites, mail and databases remain on your server. A backup copy goes where you agree, not into an account you cannot export.
Falkenstein, Helsinki, Bucharest or Gravelines. Same job.
Hetzner, OVHcloud, Netcup, Contabo, IONOS and Scaleway are the usual European locations. DigitalOcean and Vultr are fine too. Region choice is about latency and the provider’s rescue console, not about where the administrator sits.
European is the company and the invoice. It is not a claim that the server, or a night shift, is in every EU country.
Your server. Your provider. Our Linux expertise.
