Disk, load, web, database, mail queue and the backup job, on a VPS or dedicated server you already own. An alert is a signal. A response still depends on the plan and on availability.
The process, not only the ping
Reachability, disk over a threshold, load, and a failed systemd unit. A ping that answers does not mean PHP-FPM is running.
NGINX or Apache, PHP-FPM, MariaDB or MySQL, and the mail daemon if mail is on the box. A growing queue is an alert, not a monthly surprise.
Last success, not the existence of a timer. A job that has not finished is treated as down, even if the website is up.

Essential, Managed and Managed Plus include monitoring. They do not include a person on call at 03:00. Out-of-hours response is €125/hour and only if someone is available. If you need a written on-call arrangement, that is agreed separately. A monthly plan alone is not that arrangement.
We can install the checks and leave them with you
A one-time setup of alerts to your address is standard work at €55/hour. After that, the alert goes to you. We do not watch a server we are not retained to watch. A health check remains the point-in-time alternative if you do not want alerts at all.
