The record that answers is the one at the nameserver. Not the one in the panel.
Hestia or cPanel can hold a zone the world never asks. We find who is authoritative, then the A, MX or NS that is wrong. TTL is lowered before a move, not after.
Nameservers, a stale A, an MX that is proxied
The registrar points at Cloudflare. The panel still edits a zone nobody queries. We change the one that answers, and we say so before editing the other.
A record on the old IP, SPF naming it, MX forgotten. The site loads for you because of a local cache. We check from outside.
MX and the mail hostname stay DNS-only. An orange cloud on the MX is not a CDN setting. It is dropped mail.
Reverse DNS is not a record in this zone
PTR is set by the provider that owns the IP. A domain that will not resolve at all is this page. A certificate that will not issue is often this page too, because the name does not reach the server.
€55 an hour. The registrar login stays yours.
Minimum 1 hour. We need access to the zone that is authoritative, as a user you can remove. We do not take the registrar account.
Site or mail still on the old IP?
Tell us the domain and where you think the zone is. No registrar password in the first message.
