A copy that is not on the same provider account.
Sites, databases and mail, to storage you control. A Hetzner snapshot does not survive a closed Hetzner account. The first restore is part of the setup, not a promise for later.
Dump, files, and a job that fails visibly
A logical dump, not a copy of a live InnoDB directory. One database restored onto a scratch name before we call the job done.
Web roots and Maildir, incremental after the first run. Cache and session directories stay out. A mailbox is listed, not assumed.
A failed job mails you. A green panel icon that has not run in a month is the failure mode we are replacing.
Storage in your name. Not a disk on the same VPS.
Borg, restic or rclone to Backblaze, a second provider, or a box you already pay for. We do not resell the storage. Retention is agreed. Thirty days is the usual start, not an unlimited archive.
€55 an hour to set it up. Storage is your invoice.
Minimum 1 hour, more if the first sync is large. A monthly plan can include the check that the job ran. The restore of a dead server is a separate, quoted job.
Backups on the same disk as the sites?
Tell us the provider and whether mail has to be included. No root password in the first message.
