Postfix relay, deferred mail, and a server that became an open relay.
Queues in postqueue, rejects in the log, SASL in front of submission. The VPS stays yours. We do not move mail onto a host we resell.
It will not send, it will not receive, or it sends for the world
No PTR, SPF naming another IP, or a remote 550. We read the deferral reason before changing main.cf. A flush does not fix reputation.
A restriction that blocks legitimate MX, a full queue filesystem, or TLS that the other side will not negotiate. The restriction stays until we know who it was meant to stop.
mynetworks too wide, or submission without SASL. We close it, then deal with the spam already queued. The IP listing is a separate, slower problem.
Hestia and DirectAdmin are usually Exim. A plain VPS is often Postfix.
If the panel is HestiaCP, the MTA is Exim and this page is the wrong tool. Postfix is the stack on a server without that panel, or one built by hand. Dovecot still does the mailbox. Postfix only moves the message.
€55 an hour. Mail down is emergency, if someone is free.
Minimum 1 hour. Emergency €95, out of hours €125, both subject to availability. PTR is a request to Hetzner, OVHcloud or whoever owns the IP. We cannot set it from Postfix.
Postfix deferring, or accepting mail it should not?
Send the domain and one log line. No root password in the first message.
