Linux Server Support Without Moving Your Server

Most Linux problems are not “the server is broken”. They are a full disk, a PHP-FPM pool that stopped recycling, a MySQL query holding a table lock, an expired certificate, or a firewall rule added during a late change. The hosting provider will usually confirm that the virtual machine is running. Everything above the hypervisor is yours.
That is the gap DirektSupport covers. Linux server support is one-time technical help for a specific production issue. You do not move the server, you do not transfer the provider account, and you do not sign a monthly contract to get a single fault fixed.
What a one-time intervention usually covers
- NGINX or Apache errors, 502 and 504 responses, reverse-proxy misconfiguration
- PHP and PHP-FPM: version changes, memory limits, slow workers
- MySQL and MariaDB: slow queries, crashed tables, disk pressure
- Email: Exim or Postfix queues, Dovecot, SPF, DKIM, DMARC, blacklists
- SSL, DNS, SSH hardening, firewall, Fail2Ban
- Backup jobs that have never been tested
- A server that looks compromised
The stack is the usual production set: NGINX, Apache, PHP-FPM, MySQL, MariaDB, Redis, Let’s Encrypt, and the control panels people actually run — HestiaCP, DirectAdmin, cPanel and WHM, VestaCP. The provider does not matter. Work is done on servers at Hetzner, OVHcloud, Netcup, Contabo, IONOS, Scaleway, DigitalOcean, Vultr and others.
How the work starts
The working model is written first. Send the provider, distribution, control panel if you use one, the affected site or service, and any error output. You get a proposed approach before work starts.
Standard support is €55 per hour and priority support is €75 per hour, with a one-hour minimum. After the first hour, time is billed in 30-minute increments. Current figures are on the pricing page.
This is a better fit than a retainer when the server is otherwise stable and you need a specialist for one incident. If the same class of problem keeps returning, ongoing administration is usually cheaper than repeated emergencies.
What you keep
Your server stays in your name, at your provider. There is no vendor lock-in and no requirement to move DNS, email or the hosting account. Access is granted for the intervention and can be removed when the job is done. DirektSupport has been operating since 2004. The role is the Linux work around an infrastructure you already own.
